- Provide high-quality tutoring to KS3/4 students in Mathematics
- Develop tailored lesson plans and teaching materials based on individual student needs
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Encourage student engagement and participation in learning activities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Mathematics or Education
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics at KS3/4 level
Experience:Experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics at KS3/4 levelKnowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the KS3/4 Mathematics curriculum
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional teaching certifications or qualifications
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Working Conditions:This role involves working part-time hours as a temporary Maths tutor in Surrey. The tutor will primarily work with KS3/4 students, providing tailored lessons and support to help them achieve their academic goals.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
