Descripción de funciones: Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) is one of Australia’s most progressive and innovative Racing Clubs and multi-purpose entertainment venues – home of the prestigious Cox Plate. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Legends; our onsite licensed entertainment venue as the Duty Manager. The Legends venue is situated at a vantage point overlooking the racetrack, with excellent views of the City skyline and provides dining and entertainment options to raceday and non-raceday patrons.As Duty Manager you will oversee and attend to the operational requirements at Moonee Valley Legends gaming and entertainment venue and to supervise staff within all areas to ensure a high level of customer service is consistently provided.Broadly, the role will involve:
- Carrying out all attendant and cashiering duties, including all operational requirements of gaming procedures including a high level of expertise in System One procedures, including clearance and reconciliation.
- General machine and attendant duties including cleanliness of machines, clearing of coin jams, book pays and customer enquiries etc.
- Preparing accurate reports; keeping records of turnover, door counts and cash takings in accordance with VCGA and MVRC accounts and auditors.
- Undertake venue supervision operations in the absence of the Venue Manager and Assistant Manager and as directed.
- Ensure patron comfort and satisfaction at all times, along with security requirements.
- To comply with maintenance and recording of all statistics as directed.
- Attend to wagering duties as directed Venue Manager or their delegate.
- Successful completion of MVRC employee induction, compliance training and acceptance of company policies through MVRC’s Go1 Online Learning Platform.
- Responsible for adhering to the Club’s OH&S Policy and compliance with all OH&S procedures.
- Other tasks from time to time as determined by the Venue Manager, Assistant Manager or their delegate.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:
- At least two years supervisory experience in a gaming venue
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in exceptional customer service
- Act as an effective team member, to achieve common goals
- Gaming Licence – RSA & RSG
- TAB wagering accreditation
