Descripción de funciones: PermanentDublin City Centre, Dublin€30000 – €40000 per annumOur client, a prominent company based in Dublin, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s payable ledger, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.Key Responsibilities:Invoice Processing:
- Receive, review, and process supplier invoices.
- Verify invoice details and ensure proper authorization.
- Code invoices accurately to the appropriate accounts.
Payment Management:
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers according to terms.
- Reconcile payment discrepancies and address supplier inquiries.
Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly reconciliations of supplier statements.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files and records.
- Update and maintain the supplier database.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and provide support for audits.
Expense Reports:
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Communication:
- Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice and payment queries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth processing of invoices and payments.
Key Requirements:Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
